Chase is a 4-year-old lab perfect-sized something mix, he is medium in size and is an easy walker. He enjoys going for walks with his people and soaking up new sights and smells. The great part about him is that he doesn't drag you all over, he has adequate energy but doesn't need 5-mile runs or hikes either. He's good with long or short walks, adventurous hikes, or strolls around the block. He has lived with a smaller dog and cats before and with the right introductions, he could be great with new animal friends. Chase is crate trained and values the safety of his crate, he will have no issue crating himself when you leave and sometimes doesn't want to come out, I have hope that will change in the right environment! He is a nice boy who deserves a home where he can learn to be more confident. I think his ideal home could be a single person or couple, even a family with kids old enough to respect him and his personal space. He has lived with very young kids and while he has been good with them, he does seem to retreat into his crate to escape them way too much. I think perhaps he would prefer a little more stability, structure, and peace in his life. Chase is housebroken and has a super adorable face that I just know someone out there would love to wake up to every day!
