Dino is a young, energetic 2-year-old JackRat (Jack Russell and Rat Terrier mix). You might see that and think, “Oh, he’s probably a little spaz,” but that’s not the case at all! He’s what I’d call medium-energy with maximum personality. He’s up for hiking, walks, or maybe even a run with you, but he isn’t bouncing off the walls or barking nonstop like some dogs of his breed mix.
Dino has grown up in a home with babies, toddlers, and young children, as well as another dog, making him an excellent candidate for a family with kids. He’s happy, affectionate, and incredibly smart—he has endless potential with the right family. While Dino has not lived with cats or other small animals, we can’t say how he would do with them.
He would love a fenced yard where he can run around with his new family or dog friends. With some structure and positive reinforcement, Dino will quickly complete his housebreaking—he’s very close, but his current home has small kids and a lot going on, so he hasn’t had the opportunity to succeed fully.
