We’re searching for a special home for Lulu, a resilient 4-year-old puppy mill survivor who recently found herself back in our rescue through no fault of her own. Lulu’s early days of freedom were filled with uncertainty and fear—simple things like eating, drinking, or even moving felt overwhelming for her. She was so scared that she would remain completely still, unable to control her bladder or bowels.

But Lulu’s story is one of courage and progress. With the love and patience of her foster family, she has started to come out of her shell. She’s now eating and drinking normally, making strides with house training and leash walking, and slowly learning what it means to just be a dog. Most excitingly, after four months in foster care, she has begun to play with the other dogs in the home—a heartwarming milestone!

Despite everything she has endured, Lulu is a gentle soul with a sweetness that shines through. Her stunning beauty may have made her valuable to a puppy mill, but now it’s time for her to be valued for the incredible spirit she is. While progress is slow, every small victory is a testament to her strength. She will need a patient and experienced adopter who can provide the security, stability, and love she deserves.
